Efren Reyes. He is the greatest all-around pool player. He'd won world titles in 8-ball, 9-ball, straight pool, carom and in just about every conceivable game in pool.

Here's a story that sums the whole thing up. Sometime during the 80's, the Philippines had no player-entry in snooker at the Southeast Asian Games. Philippine sports officials asked the unassuming Reyes if he was up to it, and Efren, who'd never played competitive snooker, practiced for a couple of days and went on to win the snooker event. That's how good and smart he is on the table.

Nobody can match Efren Reyes' imagination in a pool table...a magician...the maestro of the dreaded Philippine team....world 9 and 8 ball champion...and a true gentleman of the sport...US Billiard Hall of Famer.
