I am a soldier in need of a new survival/combat knife and am looking at getting the Buck Strider ML or FB fixed blade. I cant decide between the two. The ML looks more functional but the tip looks weak because of the false blade on the tip. The FB should be stronger but the shape of the blade looks like it is more for looks than actually cutting, slicing or chopping. I cant seem to find any reviews on these knives but the reviews on Buck's other large fixed blade the "nighthawk" have been great all around. I am very confident with Buck Knives but dont want to dish out the cash and not be happy.
Does anyone have experience with these knives or own one? I am very curious about how the tip on the ML is shaped and how it holds up to abuse. I would also like to know how the cutting ability of the FB is with that weird blade shape. Thank you in advance for all your help.

Johnny Unitas in 1958 against the Giants or Game 5 in 1976 with Cowens and Hondo and the Celtics against Westphal and Heard and the Suns. These are two different sports.

Thank you for your responses

my friend and i were asked to be in charge of our small church bowling leauge. we did not get a big response and there fore have only 4 teams. we played our first game yesterday and one of the teams lost all 3 games and total pins. when i informed the captain of that team today that his time lost he told me that the first games don't count that they are only for averages. i told him he was a sore loser and that the standings stay. who was right

After losses to Appalachian St. and a blow-out loss to Oregon, it's difficult to justify any votes to Michigan, but Michigan still got some. Do those points just reflect lazy voters, or is there some justification that Michigan is should still be a lower-ranked, Top-25 team and Oregon and Appalachian St. are just higher-ranked Top-25 teams?

Okay, I am trying to find a pair of athletic shoes for court sports. I want a "diverse" pair of shoes that would work for basketball and volleyball practice, as well as for P.E. class.

Any recommendations?

Nebraska Cornhuskers (College Football) 2 time National champion 1 Co-National Champion , 5 National Title Games.

Hello, I would like to join athletic clubs (Tennis, Volleyball and Handball). I am very interested in sport but I am not good in athletic areas. I enjoy those 3 sports. But I am not a good runner or anything. I don't know whether I will do good or not since I have no one to practice with or to play with. But I really want to give it a try. The only problem and doubt I have is should someone join sport clubs when they are not really an "athletic" (I mean, usually athletics are those who are good at running and good at those sport skills) I am just someone who is interested in those sports, but not really sure what my levels are for the sports.

Please advice. Thanks in advance.

I was wondering why it seems pro athletes appear to NOT like signing autographs before games. I would think it would be fun to do this, no matter how many times you do it. It must not be as fun since it appears most do not like doing it.

It seems as if each time my family gathers we end up talking about sports. The conversation eventually turns to sports movies. Each person always has a different opinion, but I always learn what new movies are out there. That is why I am asking this question here.

I've seen way too many people on here (and clearly through polls as well) that repeat ESPN's talking points as if that counts for expertise. Then, these people usually criticize anybody who actually thinks for themselves because that person doesn't agree with ESPN.

Why do people merely copy what the media thinks? It doesn't make alot of sense. Why not think on your own for once? I barely read the analysts and just follow the legitimate news and occasionally some rumors to make judgments. Why does it seem that many are incapable of doing this? Do they choose to copy the media because they lack any critical thinking ability of their own? Or is it because they want to appear more knowlegeable than they are? Or something else entirely?
