I was just curious who owns these major sporting leagues like the NFL, NBA, and MLB. I know the NFL just got a new commissioner, but I don't think he owns the league.

If an athlete, which is a paid entertainer, makes 50 million in a country that speaks a language that is foreign to him/her, should he/she try to speak that language? Or at least enough to be able to thank the fans so they can understand? This does not apply to the athletes "off the boat", just the ones who have played there for a minimum of 4 years and make ridiculous salaries.

I think that when paparazzi follow you to everywhere and the media invents stuff about you, it is hard as an athlete to stay foscused on your objective. My best example is David Beckham which was sold form Manchester United in 2003 because of the media.

I want to be a cheerleader for my school. i already know a routine. It's just that the only trick I can do is kick high and a cartwheel. How can I do a split or high jumps, all those kind of tricks. For instance, back flips, front flips, etc. please help!

I am a girl and kind of shy when talking to people in person so I have decided that I would like to take up a sport but I have no idea what to do.

I do live near the beach and numerous pools so aquatic sports are okay I spose, I wouldnt mind team sports but I dont think I would do well in that kind of an environment. I was thinking about boxing (hahaha) because it sounds interesting but I am scared, how would I go about starting that up?

I live in Rockingham, Western Australia if that helps at all.

I'm torn between the time I made an amazing flying tackle in the open field to save a touchdown and the time I made this incredible 30 foot putt for birdie across the face of an extremely steep green. The flying tackle was in junior high, and it's wasn't just awesome, it was pretty much the only thing I ever did on a football field. The putt was against my father and brothers (they fell on the ground in shock when I made it), and it was on well known course in Fort Worth. Plus, I've only ever had maybe three birdies ever. What are your "highlight-reel" memories?

Im a varsity cheerleader and i cant get in a lib. I need some tips fast please=] I have practice tomorrow. Dont waste my time. If you don't know please dont put whats that. I need help. If you give me wrong advise its very dangerous. Thanks a Bunch!!
