I am a girl and kind of shy when talking to people in person so I have decided that I would like to take up a sport but I have no idea what to do.

I do live near the beach and numerous pools so aquatic sports are okay I spose, I wouldnt mind team sports but I dont think I would do well in that kind of an environment. I was thinking about boxing (hahaha) because it sounds interesting but I am scared, how would I go about starting that up?

I live in Rockingham, Western Australia if that helps at all.

Water sports or cardio sports. Go for it. Keep in mind that the people that offer these classes also want to have a student that is having as much fun with that sport as they know is possible. Don't go gung ho and buy all the gear your going to need before you even try the sport out, what if you don't like it? Most places have loaner gear to try at first and then if you like what they have then try out little pieces at a time. You live near the water? Have you thought about SCUBA diving or skin diving. This is a sport where no matter what your comfort level with others are you will deinately open up and meet new people. This sport is constant team work, it isn't about who crosses the finish line first or who went the fastest it's who is my buddy and let's make sure we are safe together. It's all about fun. You surround yourself with others who are as excited to be there as you are and who are just as concerned with your safety as you are with theirs and your own. someone always has your back. Check it out. I love boxing also. Terrific after a stressful day. Well good luck to you!

The most effective factor you rather will have to decide on at this factor in case you do wish to compete one day is whether or not it'll be in an English or Western game or field. Other than that, going again to steady classes will likely be excellent however you'll be able to have discovered the sort of driving correct for your long run game or field. Even with that, whenever you be taught to experience good, you'll continually transfer. But when you have a regular selection now (equivalent to might be leaping or dressage) it could aid consultant your alternative. You do not rather ought to fear approximately exact garments till you get critical approximately competing. You do want garments correct for driving for classes. And in case you cross English, they as a rule require breeches, boots and a helmet. For western, boots and denims paintings excellent.

Northeast over horizon just ten thousand kilometers past Capricorn Channel of Queensland I've made a cart using wheels and lower metal portion of former infant carriage to portage red polyethylene single cockpit kayak purchased new in 1992. Forty minute walk separates my residence from Pacific Ocean. Reader, like writer, is fortunate to reside in region with many offshore rocks and islands to explore. Try to locate an organized club to utilize member resources but the wayward adventuress isn't uncommon.
..........Paddle offshore far enough and I'll greet you.

I bet there's a tiger in you wanting to come out!!!! Why not try some of the martial arts? My daughter is expert in Tai Chi, which seems tame, but at higher level involves physical competition. People are very nice, and you can practice on beach. Good luck. What a nice person you seem.

You could join the swim team or if there are practices around you could go watch. If there is a certain sport you like to watch on TV you could try it. Good luck finding your sport.
