A Bench rep is when your lying down on a Flat surface face up and use are holding a large dumbbell.
A rep would be when you successfully lower the Dumbbell to it just touches your chest and you raise it back up to the starting height

reps are how many times you move the bar up without taking a break when you use the bench press. lets say you do that 8 times without stopping. then you did 8 reps. a set is made up of reps. a set is how many times you go back to lift after a break. so if you did 8 reps, stopped and then did 8 more, that would be 2 sets. most ppl do 3 sets of however many reps they are trained to do. if you want to bulk up u would do moe weight and less reps in a set, and if you just wanted to tone then u would use less weight and more reps.

When you are bench pressing, A "rep" is how many times you will do that excercise. IE: 10 times you bench press = 10 reps.

Reps are repetitions that you move the bar up and down from your chest. Start with the bar straight up above and when you bring it to your chest, count it as 1 repetition.
A set is a group of repetitions, say 8, 10 or 12 times that you lift the bar.
