Trying to find out the best way to hold a golf outing in RI. the players are mostly in the high 90's, afew in the 80's, a few in the 100's. this is only for company spirit and a fun day. I am trying to really make it worth while, so i here are my questions: what courses are good for this type of outing if you are from here (RI)? can i get a discount for for 40 or more people? What are normally the best days to go during the week for a better price? are there any sponsors out there that would donate in exchange for promotions? what is the best way to go about a raffle? Any suggestions, ideas etc would be appreciated. I play quite a bit, but i have never done anything like this. i would ask people in my company if they have done this before, but i am trying to impress the boss a little.
thanks, in advance, for your responses.

1. Playing out of winter bunkers on our poorly maintained municipal course is a nightmare. Whether they are frozen solid, super saturated or compacted, they require a different technique to playing out of the dry soft sand bunkers that the pro's play from. Can anyone offer practical advice on this problem? - please don't suggest improving the bunkers!
2. Also - any advice on how to successfully pitch and chip out of boggy, muddy ground?

Im wondering if anyone has done this themselves or bought something to do it? We are looking at golf carts to drive around in the desert ( live in Arizona)... most of the ones we saw the back seat is rear facing. We want to get that to be forward facing, since we want to take the kids. We dont like the idea that they are sitting rear facing. Does anyone know where you get those parts... or from personal experience... what did you do yourself to get it turned around?

I have only played golf two times and have never taken a lesson. I have no idea what I'm doing. I really enjoy the atmosphere and the challenge that the game presents but I need help. I can ussually drive the ball pretty straight but I tend to miss a lot of swings. I also do not hit the ball flush which causes my hit not to go very far. My putting is awful. The first time I played I shot 115 through 10 holes and the next time I went I shot 95 through 13 holes. I am using some old clubs I borrowed and would like to buy some new ones that are inexpensive. Any help is appreciated.

I'm female and 5'10". I have been using mens golf clubs for the last 8 years. My husband thought they would be better since I'm tall. That's what I learned with. Is there really much difference between men's and women's, and should I get a women's set?

I am getting new golf clubs, all Taylormades.

I tried a bunch of clubs at Golfsmith and all the Taylormade ones just happened to be all of the ones I like best.

I'm getting Taylormade everything, (except putter, that's gonna be either Guerin Rife or Odyssey).

Anyways, I'm not sure which wedges to get, I'm torn between the Titleist Vokey Spin Milled Oil Can and the Taylormade Rac Black TP.

Both have great feel, the Vokey might be better in a while cause the oil can finish.

I hit them the same height, distance, everything. The Vokey obviously spins just a little bit more (35 RPM's on average more for me). But I have all other clubs Taylormade so should I just go with the Taylormade wedges?

He talks about wanting privacy in his life and being a private person, yet he has all these mega endorsement deals. There is nothing wrong with huge endorsement deals but you can't expect privacy when you go around exposing yourself on tv and using your image to make money. How can you say you are a private person and expect privacy when you court publicity?

He gets uptight when everyone stares at him as if he is not comfortable with it, yet he is the one who creates this by signing these endorsment deals and exposing himself for everyone to see.

He also tries to act like he is more cultured and educated than the typical athlete, yet he marries a supermodel, curses loudly on TV and doesn't have much time for fans. Nothing wrong with cursing or marrying a model or not signing autographs, but don't try to act like an interesting, grateful, educated and cultured person because it smacks of hypocrisy.
