This is a guess, but an educated one from knowing retail. For an $800 set of clubs you will pay somewhere between $320 and $400. The $320 is what Golf Warehouse pays. The $400 is what a fool who goes out drinking with the sales rep is charged.

First I would be buying off of Ebay you can get the same exact set brand new from ebay dealers for about half the cost. Here is the deal most proshops are given one or 2 sets for demo so if they only demo one set they can sell a regular sett for normal high end price. I believe they mark up sets about 75%. I would say on an $800 set they would be paying $200.I have a golf pro friend and he will put his stuff on ebay for about $400 at the end of the season and sell out of all his stuff and still turn a profit.

Having had worked in the retail industry in my youth, my understanding is that the standard markups are 200 percent for jewelry stores, 1000 to 2000 percent markup for bridal shops, and about 100 percent markup for most other stores. But it can vary according to type of business and target customer base. I had a friend that would eyeball stuff as it came in and decided item by item what the tourists would be willing to pay for each item.

I don't know wholesale, but I do know that the manufacturing cost of that whole set of irons is about $15-$20!

I'm not joking, that's why they can go on such major sales, and they're still making alot of money from it.

The "loose installation" is in all probability given which you purchase the golf equipment from them. they only are not charging for the installation. i might you at the instant are not making plans on finding out to purchase they won't extra healthful you. i might say get equipped and then in simple terms tell them which you extremely choose to think of roughly it.
