Well, technically there are two way to look at this. No one has ever won the modern Grand Slam all in the same year. The two closest were Ben Hogan in 1953 and Tiger Woods in 2000. Each won three of the four.
The first person to win all four in their career was Gene Sarazen. He won his first and only Masters in 1935, the second year of the tournament. He was relatively an old man when this occur but he was the first.
