you can't. Anything you do that is against the rules will cost you penalty strokes or disqualification. If you move the ball you're suppose to put it back and assess a penalty stroke, so any time you break a rule without assessing the penalty, you are adjusting your actual score.

You are only cheating yourself. Let's say on the first hole you find your ball in a divot, so you give it a foot wedge and better your lie then finish the hole. Then you go out and finish the remaining seventeen so wonderful that you break your personal best. Can you really brag to your buddies or even feel good about it. I doubt it. Play it where it lies and put a good swing thought in your head every swing and you will improve without cheating.

Some people call it a "foot wedge". Skilled cheaters can kick the ball 20 feet to get it back in play without breaking stride.
Another favorite trick of theirs is to have a hole cut in the bottom of a pants pocket. Get the picture?

After marking your golf ball, you may move your ball closer to the hole by replacing your ball differently than you marked it. I played with a kid who would take his whole putter and use that length mark his ball horizontally (from the hole). However when he replaced his ball, he marked it vertically (closer to the hole) and was 3 feet closer to the hole, making the putt so much easier.

You don't. It's a gentleman game, and besides you are playing against yourself and that's why there's no point of cheating yourself!

Like in Baseball, Put Little spit or Vaseline on the ball and it gives it more spin and dropping power in the wind.
