Now, I may be a little cocky, but I'm tired of getting crap from my teamates. I'm not severely traumatized by it, I just don't find it very appealing. My teamates yell at me because I'm 'too' aggressive at practice. (ooh, boo hoo, and it's MY fault that half of them don't wear shinguards during practice... pleaaaase) I'm a very aggressing player. Secondly, there's these two twins on the team who think that they're the coaches! They get mad and angry and bossy. I don't mind a tip on my gameplay, however, I do mind severe correction. Then, the same twins at the game, after we lost, they come out and they say "You guys know we lost because we kept our heads down." (keeping your head down metaphoricly means that you give up once winning seems far fetched) Now, sarcastically, I replied "Oh, shut up, that's what you need to do in golf." Then he's all over me saying "Oh, you wanna go?" (I could lop his head off with a kick.) I just don't like the ignorant comment that he made towards the team

One time me and my team were playing soccer, we are a great girls team all aged 19-20. Anyway, We were losing one game 1-0 and it was quite late in the game, I ran down the side and scored a great goal! Then just a couple of minutes later I scored again, just before full time. It was great! My team mates all gathered around me and lifted me up high, then one of my 'friends' shouted "let's strip her" and they did! THey pulled off my shorts and underwear, then my shirt and bra! So I was totally naked being carried around in front of loads of people! They carried me off around the park then tied my hands and left me ages away from the locker room! I had to run all the way back in the nude and guess what? They had gathered a huge crowd of our MALE friends who all took pictures and laughed.

If people think that Americans are arrogant, spoiled, uneducated brats, then last night watching Landon refuse to talk to the Spanish reporter confirmed it for them. Univision even said on the air how ill-mannered Landon was. All he wanted to do was try and congratulate him. Who knows, talking to Univision could of been a good thing to promote the MLS??? Then when he decided to talk to the US reporters, he just tries to bash the Mexicans by saying he tries to shake their hands, but they won't shake his. Come on DUDE, you think you are perfect????? If he plans to play with Beckham, he had better learn some class. The MLS needs good people to market their product. Not overrated brats who can't show up for the big games (WC '06). He went to Europe and couldn't get respect. So for that he has to disrespect every other country? Open your eyes Landon!

Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in Europe on current form and it will take a madman to deny it. Whats incredibly valuable about Cristiano is not the fact that he is the best but the fact that he is the best while doing it with such flair. You can be great..but boring. Cristiano's series of tricks, step overs, and party pieces is simply mersmorizing to the eye. He is a marketing power to not only male fans but the huge legions of female fans he have as well. Yet outside of Old Trafford the idiotic boo boys of the Premiership still boo him. The same idiot boo boys that go home later that night to watch his latest tricks on youtube. And when he leaves for the La Liga this summer good luck finding another entertainer in your pathetic Post-Ronaldo Premiership. Hey Maybe Shenvchenko can learn some tricks yes? Or hey maybe Peter Crouch will suddenly have millions of female fans YES? And when Cris comes back representing Barca or Madrid for the Champions League let me guess Boo Him again?

What did you think about the match? Who should of won and if they did win, why?
I felt that Mexico could of score so many time but they look like they didn't care and USA had free kicks. I hate Americans, most of them don't even care for the sport of football ( soccer). So it not fair that they winned. But it not like they're the best, they are alway losing, could Mexico should of won.

In my posts about the U.S.-Mexico game I made some comments about the country of Mexico itself which I regret. I apologize for them.

But people have said that the Mexican players didn't shake hands because they felt disrespected... that's all the American team wants, too!
You see, the truth is, the American soccer program isn't bad at all... certainly nowhere near the top, like Italy/Germany/Brazil/England/Argentina, etc... but they're not BAD! The U.S. team is probably in the middle of the pack in terms of talent. Yet most soccer fans outside America try to paint this picture of the American team being THE WORST in the world! American players just want respect, just as the Mexican players did.

2 points soccer fans outside of America must consider:

1.) The American soccer program HAS gotten better over time, especially recently.

2.) With such a large talent pool (300 million people here) America will get better and better, and in 10 or so years will have a VERY good team!

Having lived in the US my whole life, the sport is not something that had caught my interest. I generally saw it as something little kids play and you don't pay too much attention to. Last summer during the World Cup, I took a trip to Italy. I was able to see the glory and passion that makes this sport so great. I have been excited to start playing ever since even though I have never touched a football (soccer) ball until now. What are some tips or suggestions to a new player?

It's only a friendly, time to try out the younger faces. I live and work in NI and I am getting some stick from those NI supporters who say "We scored 3 against Spain". How many did they score against Wales? - sorry unfair question as David Healy was injured

When the FA were going to appoint the New England manager most people simply wanted an English manager, but not the best man for the job. I never understood that and im not surprised at the results and performance. I don’t even think Mcclaren is the best English manager. Allardyce is, lets hope things improve, as Mcclaren at the moment hasn’t a clue.
