Mexico vs. USA?

Question

What did you think about the match? Who should of won and if they did win, why?
I felt that Mexico could of score so many time but they look like they didn't care and USA had free kicks. I hate Americans, most of them don't even care for the sport of football ( soccer). So it not fair that they winned. But it not like they're the best, they are alway losing, could Mexico should of won.

yeah yeah Mexico lost but we should have won... we practically gave it to the u.s. but when this matchup between both countries happens again for something that really matters we will see what happens then... stupid donavan he pissed me off too by dissing the univision reporter what the *f* did he say though???

Hey, you better watch it. The USA's soccer program is going to be huge in just a few years. footbal is catching on here in the US, and the US is the only country who can afford to buy a player for 250 million. If they did that with Beckham, imagine what they are going to do when footbal gets big.

Anyways, as far as the game goes, I am Mexican and love el Tri, but the USA played way better. Mexico was not giving it their best. They thought they would have a sure victory, and played very mediocrely. It wasnt until the US scored that Mexico began to bite the bullet and play their asses off, and even then, the US defense was superior. I would have loved to see Mexico win, finally against the US, but lets face it, the US won, and they deserved the win. Even though Donovan pissed me off by dissing Univision.

What are you talking about?? I'm not a football (soccer) fan, but I do know that we have spanking Mexico for a while now. When was the last time you guys scored on us??? Yeah back about 40 years ago you guys were putting a beating on us but "what have you done for me lately"
If I was you I would be mad too. Your right most of us don't care about soccer, and we still put foot to butt on Mexico! Its only a game! You might hate Americans but we like you!

The game was almost evenly matched, but the US was slightly better and finished their chances. I think its funny Sanchez doesn't even ride in the team bus with his players, opting to take a private limousine to games.... Sanchez called up Marquez, Blanco, Borgetti.... to no avail. Mexico's lineup was filled with international stars, and the US had mostly its back-up squad on the pitch...

Donovan didn't interview with Univision for the simple reason that the Mexican national team and many of its fans have absolutely no class. The Mexican team, including its coach, walked off the field immediately following the game, refusing to shake the Americans' hands. During US corner kicks, Mexican fans threw full cups of beer at the American players on the field. After Donovan scored his goal, the Mexican keeper tried to karate kick Eddie Johnson who was going to celebrate the goal with Donovan. Toward the end of the game when Donovan was shielding the ball on the sideline, Marquez went in cleats up to Donovan's knee ... simply to try to hurt him.

When the USA plays Mexico at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City, the fans throw batteries, beer, whatever... at the American players on the field.

I can understand why Donovan doesn't interview with Univision.

the usa didnt pay 250 million for beckham thats how much he is getting paid in terms of marketting and salary. l.a galaxy actually didnt pay a penny to real madrid for him as they got him on a free transfer, the club with the real spending power is chelsea in england. no i do not think u.s.a should have won as i believe mexico are the better team. however i did not see the game and if u.s.a played better footbll than mexico then they deserve to win.

Mexico blew the chances. USA won because not even one player is from USA, all of them migrated from different countries and got American citizenship, that's why they can play for USA. Mexico can't do that and they only had Mexican players.

C'mon.....if you want to know how we felt about the game, read all the posts in here. This is about the 20th time this question has been asked. The referee blew the final whistle, the US victory is in the books, suck it up and move on with life. Mexico lost, accept it...end of story.

I don't know who should have won but I was disappointed when i found out that they lost. The goalie for Mexico kept letting EASY shots pass. Dude I was so freaking pissed. U.S.A. wasn't good but neither was Mexico the game shouldn't have ended so easily.

Ok seriously we know that Mexico since the begining of the game had control of the ball. I mean they dominted the whole field but due to the fact that they were only given a couple of days to practise and train with a new coach i think it was unfair. Also, those goals that were scored on Mexico, honestly those were just luck, especially the last one.
