What do you think or your club's players?

I mean individually, what do you think of YOUR OWN team (you can do your best XI, or even your entire squad). I guess I'll use my own example (I am a Man Utd fan):

VDS: Quality goalkeeper. Our best goalie since you know who. Well make every save he should, but unlike Pete, he won't make the saves he shouldn't. He is big, good off corners, but he seems to be slow off his line with freekicks.

Neville: Legend. One of the best RBs in our history, his personal opinions get him in trouble (ie, hates Liverpool)

Vidic: One of SAF's best buys, starting to be such a strong defender

Rio: Good defender, solid 99% of the time, has that laspe though. Helps to restart our counter well.

Evra: Thought he would be one of SAF's worst buys, he is starting to become the opposite. Gets forward well, such good pace. Real quality LB.

Ronaldo: Class player. Nothing more to be said; though I am beginning to question his loyalty.

It is unbelieavable. There is no doubt in any real, unbiased, football (soccer) fan´s brain, that the best clubs live in Spain´s LA LIGA. The best players from all around the world play in this league, but fore some reason yahoo would rather us know about Mexican clubs. Which Mexican club is even recognized by any real fan. They would probably loose 10 to ZERO against FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, etc. Please do not deprive REAL Football (soccer) fans of real football (soccer). It is rather ignorant.

Here's the link ... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writers/grant_wahl/01/17/beckham.qa/?cnn=yes

According to this article - There is more to Beckham's deal than the guaranteed salary, however. Beckham will also earn 40-to-50 percent of Galaxy jersey sales and an undisclosed share of ticket revenues. And that's not all. "There are certain aspects of the deal that are ultimately about the upside value of the league as a whole that David can participate in," says Leiweke. "Our partners all had to sign off, and they did. We had a couple of interesting board calls, but they did."

Long story short: Beckham may or may not earn $250 million over the next five years, but the majority of his income will continue to derive from endorsements and not from the Galaxy or MLS. From my perspective, it's a shame that the phrase "$250 million contract" became gospel in the media, because it's terribly misleading and just not correct.

I will always stand by my opinion of him, 'an overpayed git who gives soccer a bad name and who also can't run to save his life'

Why do people fawn all over him like a god. He should retire. Most players in England are now five times better than him and hw will always be a git.

I know little about soccer... besides the really basic stuff. I've never played on a team before. What should I expect and do at the tryouts to please the coach and make the team?

I'm not a big fan of soccer (I only like baseball and basketball), but I've heard that Beckham signed a deal with the L.A. Galaxy. I was just wondering what everyone thought about that. I know a lot of people will probably start going to their games now. I'm interested in knowing what you guys think.

I've been invited to the Emirates Stadium this afternoon with a client (an Arsenal fan). I'm not a follower of football and have never been to a match before but this is part of a "thankyou" for the company I work for so I have to go. I understand that we're going to be hosted in a corporate box.

Only problem is - what do I wear? Jeans and a smart shirt? Trousers and a smart shirt? A suit? Jeans and t-shirt? Trainers? Work shoes?

From the football fans out there - what do you suggest?
