Sure you have some play makers on either side...but the difference was coaching. Argentina was a well oiled machine that played it's game. Mexico was desperate and without a plan from the get go. If coaches were switched the outcome would have been reversed.

I am amazed at the discipline of the Argentine team. They played like they have been playing together a whole season with no breaks. That's coaching!

i think i'm not good at endurance, but how do i build up my stamina? how long should i run if i'm just starting off? and how fast should i go? is it true that if i can't run and talk at the same time, i'm going too fast? how long should i be able to run if i were to complete 90 mins of football? a rough estimation please

I'm Brazilian even i know Hagi as the greates ever, i think he was better that Zico, Ronaldinho and any1 else you could throw at me even Maradona well they were practicly the same player. Everytime some1 posts something on the internet of the top 50 goals of all time his goals get overlooked. I thyink he had the greatest goal ever look at this video. Hagi is the greatest player ive ever seen in Brazil if people know Pele Ronaldo or Zico and then you ask them about Maradona they will say Hagi was better without even you mentioning him.

I wana know if you ever heard about him and what you think.

European teams have had football culture since eve and definetly form part of their lives, how come the US with no football culture become a football giant, yeah the US has a big population bigger than the european and many US teens play it but even less European teens play it and they are even beter than the Amercan bothers. US soccer has promised and dreamed that they will reach a good football level, wat makes u think i will happe nnow, if it hasnt happened with the arrival of Pele to the MLS.

Ok last night someone asks "Does anyone know when the world cup u20 with mexico will be played"? She gets the answer ( thursday July 12th ) with a link to the FIFA U20 web site. 40 minutes later the same person post the following question. "Does anyone know the time for the Mexico World Cup U20 to be played on Thursday against Congo? We live in OH" ? Had she clicked on the link offered in the original question she would have known for it was right there in front of her nose in black and white. So my question is, do you feel this person is lazy, stupid or both ?

Who agree's us soccer...?
Who agrees that USA soccer is the most hidous tedious ridicoulis style of soccer in the world. Case in point latest matches against Argentina 4-1, Paraguay 4-1, columbia 1-0. To me, as a us soccer player i find it extremely frustrating to watch the us play. long ball... long ball... long ball. Is there one player on the national squad who stands out because of his skill, possesion, vision? No Zero. Please dont say landin or dempsey. Cause I'll say Messi, Riquelme. Its bad, and its worse when the under 20 national team shows more promise then the world cup team. Who's in charge changes need to be made. And u know the guys on the u20's wont replace the landins or the dempsey's or the reyna's. politics and marketing. Hi, I'm a British citizen but I am of greek descent. Everyone in Europe, Latin America and much of Asia is crazy about the sport, and it is (almost always) seen as a sport for men.

Why isn't this the case in the US, I'm just curious because I gather that it's more popular with women over there!

Apparently the answer I wanted to win DIDN'T win...so here we go again!

What really angers me is that during those world cups ('98 & '06), Kasey Keller was the goalie during the games (except for the final group game in 98 vs. Yugoslavia). The only reason USA did so well in 2002 was because Brad Freidel was the GK and, despite losing to Germany in the quarter finals, look how well we did throught 2002! I can't trust Keller at goal for major games. We lose many many games because of him. Had Tim Howard been at goal in 2006, we WOULD'VE advanced. And to make things worse (something I didn't mention earlier) he's not getting any younger and I really think he needs to retire from the US squad. Who agree that Keller must hang up his gloves for the USA before he jinxes us should he be at goal in 2010?!

Last Friday night I was watching US and Brazil play whick was probably the most exciting soccer match I've ever seen. US won 2 - 1. But there's no news....no mention of this on ESPN....I must have missed it.
