He is, by people like me who really know football. And, at the time, he played with a mediocre French team. On the other hand, he played in Real Madrid with wonderful playes, like Santamaria, an Uruguyan, Distefano, an Argentinian and the wonderful Puskas, an Hungarian.

Well he is one of my all time favourites. Tragic that his career ended like it did. Two broken legs by 27 yrs of age. So sad. He was a great striker and it took Muller to surpass his record.
