Were Brazil and Argentina were playing with their worst team?

Uruguay has a very good history......and their past is illustrated with great teams, especially early on.....
In South America.....Uruguay was considered a Big team, many still do....unfortunately for them...many other South Americans countries have caught up to them in terms of quality.
Also, I am sure you heard of what a Clasico is....the big one being Argentina vs Brasil......but Uruguay is also in that mix with Brasil vs. Uruguay and Argentina vs Uruguay....Those three games are the big matchups in South America in terms of historical significance...
By the way....Have you heard of Enzo "El Principe" Francescoli? Great Uruguayian player ... was looked up by many aspiring young futbolers including one Zinedine Zidane.(was his hero and name his first Son Enzo).
So.....no....Argentina and Brasil were not playing their worst teams....Uruguay has a great past......not many countries can say they won the World Cup twice....(France, England...etc..)
Give them credit where credit is due
Even last night ....taking Brasil down to the wire...and they had them beaten.....but Penalties are 50/50.....

Are you saying that Uruguay played badly last night, I thought they were great and should have won. They wanted it more than Brazil, that's for sure.

they were really really good. they even won the World Cup twice. Argentina has also won it 14 times, Brasil 7.

They used to have very good players and kick everything that moved. They use to call that " La garra charrua " and meant they would break their momma's leg if they had to.
