Seriously, they played horrible today! I love them and want them to win it all but I doubt they'll beat either Argentina or Holland.

cause somehow i see unrealistic plays ... like being manipulated ... how the player/team suddenly play worse .. the score is manipulated so mafia get most of the money ..
and country gets the money too ?
it is a huge amount of money you know .. i predict in one game, the mafia can get all people's average daily income.. people here is all around the world !!

Ok....a lot of people are underestiamting Portugal, and I can't see why they can't do as much as any other team.

The round of 16 will be hard for Portugal because they have to go up against either Argentina or Netherlands...but look, Argentina ebt the Serbians 6-0 because the serbians are a bad team...so don't use that as a reason Portugal can't beat Argentina.

Netherlands would be tough too but Portugal has beaten them before (Euro 2004), so why can't they do it again?

Now, it's the semi-finals that are gonna start the extreame because the most probable opponent for Portugal will be England.
There have been multiple occasions where these 2 teams played..in a way, they are great rivals. But, the Portuguese beat them in the Euro (close victory but victory nonetheless), so why can't they do it again?.

Now, after all that, do you still think Portugal won't make it to the finals?

I think its about time that some sort of technology was brought in to avoid teams losing out due to bad refereeing. What happened to the goal-line technology we heard so much about before the world cup? The France game the other night highlights just how much this is needed. Its ridiculous that we still rely on human judgment for such matters.
As for video replays, obviously it would have to be instant, and the amount of times a team could challenge the referees call would have to be restricted, perhaps until the ref decides they are wrong, to avoid the game stopping every 20 seconds. Im sick of seeing goals flagged offside when they arent, and vice versa. Or red cards for no reason. Just ask the Spain team of 4 years ago how much they would have liked to have had video replays in that match against S. Korea, and countless other teams who this has ever happened to.
So the question is, When is Mr Blatter going to get his act together and introduce something like this??

With the FIFA world cup around, I see people arguing on offside, and creating their own rule.
