With the FIFA world cup around, I see people arguing on offside, and creating their own rule.

Me, personally, always knew the off side rule perfectly. And all the rules. It is a big adventage when you play the game. Did you know that the penalty kick could be played as a pass?

offside is just like use in soccer game. it rule is create by FIFA.

offside is when the offensive team passes the last defensive player before the ball does, this prevents "cherrypicking"

Ofside is when the Forward goes past evbery1 and gets there before the ball duh....
