FIFA World Cup (TM) (Football, Sports) - June 2006

I keep seeing this in a commercial and thought it had something to do with the kids (you know the commercial...I think they speak spanish...) but then i heard the announcers say it....what does it mean? Is the a + any thing else (+8 or + 14)?...oh yeah what are caps...it says caps: then goals: in the stats....I'm sure this is common knowledge to most people, like i said we're new. Thanks for the patience!

I think Cristiano Ronaldo from Portugal has a great chance of getting the Best Young Player title, don't you?

He's pretty good, very nimble and skillful. I swear, I saw him fly over a player with the ball today! I think he deserves that title.

New to soccer. How long is 1/2 time and if ejected is it for the remainer of the game AND the next game?

My sons (6 and 4) have recently joined soccer leagues so we are new to the sport. We have been watching the world cup and have had alot of questions, most of which their coach has answered but i forgot a couple. It is really a great sport, so fast and requiring so much stamina! I don't even see the fouls most of the time until the replay! Before i asked about being ejected...if it is also for the next game is this a general rule or a world cup rule?

i am so mad about danielle de rossi's red card. he is like the cutest player in the team. i was interested in soccer because of him. anyhow, what does the red card mean? is it banned for the series or two matches? and what does the yellow card mean?

What in the world happened with todays game between Italy and USA?

The game started off well and then things APPEAR to have started to go downhill after italy scored and after an italian player was ejected...

And what the hell was wrong with italy? Team USA had only nine players and italy still could not break the tie.

GHANA VS CZECH R. what was that!!!?

Talk about weird!! i know and like that in a wc anything can happen but gizz weez, czech's getting onwed is not right not by a team of the caliber of ghana , its almost an insult to the euro teams, i think USA BETTER SHOW Ghana what American(north) soccer is all about, hope they bag a 2-0 win and make it look easy, what do you guys think about these 2 subjects.

Whats wrong with the US Soccer Team?

Although they tied the game up today Thanks to a Goal By an italian Player, I think the US coach is very useless, He has no game plan whatsoever, the players are Okay but we see situations whereby they get to the goal post and don't know what to do with the ball, in my own opinion i feel the US team should throw in a towel for their match against Ghana Cos there is no way They would defeat Ghana
