The game started off well and then things APPEAR to have started to go downhill after italy scored and after an italian player was ejected...
And what the hell was wrong with italy? Team USA had only nine players and italy still could not break the tie.

Remember that the USA has not scored a single goal in this world cup yet! Italians scored a goal against their camp (idiots).
Looking at the stats USA has 24 fouls versus 13 for Italy. USA also got 2 red cards versus only one for Italy.
Yes, we saw some blood on the field but the americans played globally a much tougher soccer than the italians.
This tie is the BEST think that could have happened to the USA, an italian scoring against his camp.
Italy is qualified anyway, they just want to make sure now that they wont have to play Brazil next...

Hahaha....team USA were lucky coz the Italian player gave them a cheap freaky goal. They can't score themselves. If it wasn't because of their gk, USA would be beaten by a big margin. Credit to the goalkeeper. Anyway, the game was ruin by the 3 sending offs which I think kills off the game. What can u do, as the ref is from uruguay and he's used to this kind of football. Just hope there will be no more matches like this.

I dont know! It was a nightmare...Firt the self gol and then the red card..I almost die of a heart attack. I think USA played well but also had a lot of good luck taking into consideration that Ghana won over Czech Republic and that gave an good opportunity to USA to pass tho the next step. Also that their gol was because of a self gol.
Yes, USA have one player less but we must remember that Perrota was very injured so that was not a real advantage for the Italian selection.

Well, even if the USA had only 9 players, it was their forwards who were ejected, leaving their midfield and defence. Haha, you think the US NORMALLY has good defence? xD They were fine with the draw, hence why they boosted up their defence to keep it that way.
Either way, the result didn't even matter since the USA couldn't be eliminated or advance, because of Ghana's win.

I know why they didnt score.....U.S.A. is why. The Red White and Blue are now starting to come out of their shell and finally show what they are capable of. To hold of Italy with 9 players for a whole half is amazing. Watch out for the US of A.

I think USA was lucky to get this tie. Cause at the end of the game they were only defending.

Italy wasn't luck,because they played under their top form...
But USA was untouchable..... I was sad my lovely Italy just could play draw with USA... And one again, Keller the GK of USA, played very very skillful...

The officiating in that game rivaled that in the Super Bowl.
