Without the league I'm actually going crazy. Lol. Before I thought I'd be ok with the U20 but it's seriously not enough haha. I misssssss the league and the WC.. GRRR.

Any suggestions on what to do??? lol. Anyone else having this problem? Seriously this summer sucks lol. I need a life besides footie...

Why oh why is everyone so obsessed with so few teams.
I think we should limit the number of foreign players to 3 per team.
Or maybe limit the wage for players.
Then perhaps we could have a more competitive league system. At the moment the top sides buy whomever they please and the quality gap gets wider and wider.
Then we could all support our local side and leave Man U to Mancunians.
I think the premiership has become predictable and boring. And no I don't want to see the best players in the world, I just want to see my team win the cup!

I used to love watching him play. I went to Italy one summer
and I talked to little kids who were to young to have even
seen Maradona play and was always talking about him. I

I personally was hoarse from yelling so much and was waving a 7X15 foot flag on College street in Toronto. Then driving around for about 100 kms through Hamilton till we hit Niagara Falls with a flag waving the entire time as part of the RO35 Viva Italia Tour.

The most WCs has Brazil
The most Euro cups has Germany (France in secnd)
The best goal of all time is by Maradona

... maybe if there was the award for ''The most boring team'' Italy could won something!!!

One of my favourite moments has been the matches that Naty and then JLS organised here between the users.

I think most people here enjoyed those matches and I loved the friendly banter between the teams.

Uruguay, Brazil, Mexico, & Argentina!! All passed to the semis by defeating their oppenents by 4 goals or more!!

Hi, I'm a British citizen but I am of greek descent. Everyone in Europe, Latin America and much of Asia is crazy about the sport, and it is (almost always) seen as a sport for men.

Why isn't this the case in the US, I'm just curious because I gather that it's more popular with women over there!

Apparently the answer I wanted to win DIDN'T win...so here we go again!

What really angers me is that during those world cups ('98 & '06), Kasey Keller was the goalie during the games (except for the final group game in 98 vs. Yugoslavia). The only reason USA did so well in 2002 was because Brad Freidel was the GK and, despite losing to Germany in the quarter finals, look how well we did throught 2002! I can't trust Keller at goal for major games. We lose many many games because of him. Had Tim Howard been at goal in 2006, we WOULD'VE advanced. And to make things worse (something I didn't mention earlier) he's not getting any younger and I really think he needs to retire from the US squad. Who agree that Keller must hang up his gloves for the USA before he jinxes us should he be at goal in 2010?!
