In North American basketball, football, baseball, hockey, etc. you always see multi-player and multi-team deals that sometimes involve direct cash transactions. In European soccer, it's always the rights to one player being purchased by one club, then that player signing a contract with the new team. Sometimes teams can get players on free (Bosman) transfers, but it still seems like it's always single-player, single-team transactions.

who thinks mexico deserved to lose after that horrible job of playing they did they didn't play with heart they just didn't seem to care mexico seemed scared right from the start the player seemed as if they didn't want the ball the didn't go forward they just lost all the skill they were playing with in the beginning of the la copa america none of the players seem as a threat to argentina they just didn't want to progress and congratulation to argentina

Hugo was a great player, but he sucks as a coach. OSWALDO DOESN'T DESERVE TO BE THE 1ST GOALIE!!! HE SUCKS! HES LOST IT!!! Anyone that doesn't see that is either blind or a dumbass.

Why the hell are Cacho, Israel Castro, Fausto Pinto, and Jaime Correa in the starting team!?!? They haven't shown anything to deserve to be "titulares".

If you're already losing 3-0 and there's 15 minutes left, make a SUB!!! Change something up. Don't put Bravo or Pineda... they didn't do crap.

We the ability to accomplish great things... all we need is a coach with at least HALF a brain.

Sure you have some play makers on either side...but the difference was coaching. Argentina was a well oiled machine that played it's game. Mexico was desperate and without a plan from the get go. If coaches were switched the outcome would have been reversed.

I am amazed at the discipline of the Argentine team. They played like they have been playing together a whole season with no breaks. That's coaching!

USA seems less dominant. In baseball latin players are starting to take over the American players places. Most of the shortstops in the mlb are now from Puerto Rico, Dominican, or Venezuela. In basketball Americans dominate the NBA style game but in international competions we dont meet expectations. We are ok in ice hockey but not great. We are better than the Czechs but not better than the Canadians. In fighting Americans are dominant but thats about it. Mayweather could beat any fighter in his path. Randy Couture could knock out any Mexican, Russian or Brazilian in his way. I mean Tito Ortiz got spanked by Couture. Tennis Americans just plain suck. We are no good. Were probably better in futbol then we are in at tennis and i think the US national team is one of the top ten worst teams in the world up there with India, El Salvador and Samoa.

I'm Brazilian even i know Hagi as the greates ever, i think he was better that Zico, Ronaldinho and any1 else you could throw at me even Maradona well they were practicly the same player. Everytime some1 posts something on the internet of the top 50 goals of all time his goals get overlooked. I thyink he had the greatest goal ever look at this video. Hagi is the greatest player ive ever seen in Brazil if people know Pele Ronaldo or Zico and then you ask them about Maradona they will say Hagi was better without even you mentioning him.
