The top professional footballers in this country are paid more per week than most 'real' people get in a year. When they are ill, injured or unable to play for some other reason, do their contracts still qualify them for statutory sick pay? If so, what level of pay do they get? so what you think? i was born in southern california but both my parents are from mexico. I myself am a fan of the mexican national team, but i think that the US will get to the cup before mexico. their soccer is evolving so good and every year that goes by their team keeps getting stronger. mexico, on the otherhand, has been stuck where they have been for many many years. the main problem is that players would rather stay and play in mexico rather than go to europe.
