Raving Tarts: First, get off Glazer's back! Who cares if the club is in debt or not, as long as the right moves are made to put the best team on the field. Last I checked ManU are 9 points clear. That's the only bottom line that counts. I'm sure Glazer is not in this to lose money, but as I said before: Who cares? ManU is doing better than ever, so give him a break. Sorry, but you need to admit you guys were all wrong: Glazer hasn't ruined the team, he's doing a fine job, and so is ManU. Peace.

Manchester United is the richer club. It's also the club that has profited the most last year (2006).

on a strict footballing sense, the richer club is Manchester United with a revenue of £168mil. Man Utd ranks only 4th in the latest Deloitte's Football Money League research.
Chelski ranks only 6th with a revenue of £153m.
Real, Barcelona and Juventus were the only clubs ranked ahead of Man U. Real retained it's number 1 list from last year's rankings while Man Utd slipped from 2nd to it's current ranking.
Man Utd held the number 1 ranking for a long time before Real overtook them.

Roman is a billionaire who bought over chelsea and chooses to pump funds into the club. Chelsea does not do too bad in terms of their marketing either.
Although they do lose to Man United in terms of yearly revenue. Man united in fact were the 'Chelsea' before Roman bought chelsea. They splurged HUGE sums on players (in fact Man United's record signing Wayne Rooney by far outprice chelsea's).
But before someone thinks that Man United is richer. Man united is actually in debt! no thanks to malcolm glazer so this definitely nullifies the argument that Man United is richer than chelsea. Even though their spending exceeds their revenue, their spending is augmented by Roman. Whilst on the other hand Man U's spending is controlled by the glazer family who bought united for profit. And put them in debt because they wanted to pay for their purchase.

Chelsea is going to poor again once Abramovic pulls out, they only super rich because of him. Man Utd's cash came from hard work & great legacy behind it, not by oil money.
