yes, i agree with you, Casillas IS the best in the world, he's only 24 and he's recognized as one of the best ever! and being called up for the 2002 WC (meaning when he was 20) and being the primary GK due to Canizares's injury, again, yes, i do think he's the best!

He's an amazing keeper no doubt about it and he's in the top 5. I would say that the top 5 are:
1. Cech ( And I'm not really a chelsea fan)
2. Casillas
3. Ricardo
4. Buffon
5. Dida/ Valdes

Ummm..Actually I think Ricardo is the best goalie at present followed by Cech and Buffon. Casillas has lost his once impeccable touch. He's now, just a shadow of his former self. But I do like him, I do.
But the all time best goalie is without a doubt Lev yashin.

have you seen buffon in a game before, if that answer is a no i suggest you do he's he's something indescribable. he's out of this world when it comes to been a goalie. casillas is a good goalie, but not the very best i have seen the best and worst, i tell you my friend buffon is the best and am not even Italian, but if something is great you must acknowledge it. if you ask me h should be one of the nominee for world best after all he's a player too.

Now Casillas is a great keeper and usually very steady but Cech is one of my faves, even though he plays for Chelsea. But yes Real could be in a much worse position without him. But Real players are working hard on the pitch to counteract Capello and the problems.

Cassilas is so great, he has wings to protect the goal lol. He knows how to position himself very well.
UR absolutely right, the only thing thats keeping Real's prestige to survive is Cassilas. Their deffence line was so poor, well at least until Ivan Helgueara came.
But Cassilas' skill only matched with Buffon.

Buffon is the best right now. In the World Cup he let in two goals. Here they are:
An own goal by some idiot defender who couldn't kick strait
and a PK by one of the greatest players of all time, Zidane.
He stopped everything else and was amazing.

Actually i totally agree with you,he is young and very long time he is in top,he is best goalkeeper for me.Even i hate Real,Kassilas is only good thing in that team.
