the portugal player tried to trip the france player but the player didn't fall but the portugal player slipped and fall and then the france player steeped (he didn't trip but steeped on ) and wabbled his leg and fall so whose fault was it for more info see the video and you will see what i am talking about and who thought that the refree was unfair and p.s who thought that the portugal's should have been given a penalty when one of the france guy tripped some portugal player and cristano Rolando ?

all most all the favorites were kicked out of the final. the refs are horrible. to me the portugal vs holland game was the worst.

To me, Germany 2006 has had it all - Great victories for virtually unkown teams, powerful teams which have been defeated in incredible upsets, old players past their prime shining brightly, superbly exciting games, and, most importantly, it has created an atmosphere which has brought tremendous joy to the troubled world in which we live in. It has been the Beautiful Game at its best. What are your thoughts?

I dont see the logic of penalty kicks. Save the losing team and fans from being heart-broken after having reached thus far. Either champions can alternately hold the trophy for 2 years.

France didn't play as well as the last match with Brazil but they still win in match with Portugal and meet Italy in final on 09July. What do think about France in that match?
