Japan and Ghana were the surprise teams of the WC. The biggest disappointment was England being knocked out (for me).

Australia came in Ranked 44th (or 47th) in the world and we made it through to the final 16. Unfortunately the standard of Reffing was pathetic and due to this Australia has departed. Aus vs Brazil 25 to 9 fouls.. We kept them 2-0 in 90mins. Ronaldo was offside for 1 of the goals. If your going to call Viduka (aus striker) offside for a hairline, then you call ronaldo offside for a hairline.. Australia held Italy up until the final 10 seconds of injury time when Grosso took a huge dive in the box and Italy were awarded a penalty.. Totti stepped up to take the kick and Schwartzer had no chance! Italy progress to final 8.

The biggest surprise was ... the quality of the referees .. pathetic!
They got better in later stages, but I expected so much better from them.

Ghana definitelly, they did great this year. I am also surprised by Japan, with all due respect.
But Brazil, man, that was out of the blue. Germany was my biggest personal dissapointment, as I thought they will do more being at home and great team and all.

New Zealand ending the international Cup undefeated. not even Spain can declare one of those feat. the different wonder replaced into Spain making the perfect - this united states of america replaced into think to choke, they are not wide-spread because the perennial underachievers for not some thing
