Football - June 2006

Brazil beat Ghana this year very easily. The first game was 3:0 and Ghana won 0 points and the next game was 2:0, again Ghana won 0 points. Plus on June 18th, Brazil beat Austrailia by 2:0. Plus on June22, Japan lost by Brazil by 1:4. So, what do you guys think??

if you take out ronaldo they are just as good as any other team,
infact, argentina plays better as a team than brazil. if u think they have ronaldinho, i fail to see what he did this whole world cup, atleast last time around he used to smile a bit, they are doomed if ronaldo goes

What is your opinion of the referees in this world cup? Are they good or bad? Especially after the game Nederlands-Portugal and Italy-Australia.
I find it poor in some ways.

in my opinion, it will never be considered a real sport like the big 4 ( baseball, basketball, football and hockey). It is just to slow, boring and no action. Not too mention the..welll//uhhh..you know.... any thoughts, will it ever reach the status it has in other countries. keepings in mind them countries also have no other sports to watch( oh yeah cricket lmao)

Just wondering... I've been reading too many insulting comments like "Italy is a nation that is famous for all types of cheating", "Spaniards are racist", "Portuguese are immoral", and so on.

Hello, this is the soccer world cup, so just talk about soccer teams and leave nations alone!!!

You can't judge a whole nation based on their soccer players, or stupid stereotypes.

They have been sucking ***! The were outplayed by everyone in their pool (except the Czech) but somehow managed to get out in first. Then they were blessed with the easiest road to the Semis and they could barely beat the Swiss (which was a scam win...they should boot that ref, that was probably the worse call of the tourney so far). This isn't really a question, more of a statement. Italy doesn't deserve to play. Feel free to add to this. Unless you're some stupid Italian fan that for some reason believes that they have done alright so far. Let's be objective people!

I am sure the French, English, German, and Italian rank up there on top.
