a) trying to buy the best available players in the world
b) making more people aware of the Man Utd of the franchise potential in China and other parts of Asia as well as America.
c)building foundations for school academies in the local area
d)keeping legends from different eras, such as Sir Bobby Charlton and using them in ambassadorial role.
e)keep improving Old Trafford with more seats in the corners(quadrants).

Far-reaching advertising along with ties to corporations. I'm not a huge soccer fan, but that's it as far as I can tell.
