I think they are overrated. There first big challenge is France. Teams they have so far, have been mediocre.

Yeah, Argentina plays better as a team, they used to say that in the 2004 Confederations Cup, the final? An easy Brazil 4-1 Argentina, that proved what they can do, when the stakes are high. And it was basically the same teams that are in this World Cup, except that Ronaldo wasn't even playing!
Now I agree they are over-hyped. I do think it's the best, but it's not like they can breeze through every single game, or that other teams can't win. One problem is that everyone tries to say crap about our team, so we brag to piss them off. ;p
Plus we really get really happy when we win, did you know that in here almost everyone stops to see the games? The companies send people home earlier and stuff, that shows how much the brazilians love football.

I don't think they are doomed if ronaldo is gone , Brazil still have Adriano and Robinho Even Fred , very talented players they
could also move Ronaldinho into a more attacking role and with the rest of the team they're still strong. Still they are not unbeatable
, France , England ,Germany and Argentina definitely match to Brazil talent ,But Brazil has nothing to prove , the rest does

I dont think they are overhyped. They have not been in a sirtuation where they were forced to display their talents. One bad habit that Brazil has is that they play to the level of their competition. In regards to ronaldinho, you have to take into consideration what a player does off the ball not always with the ball. Ronaldinho still is a huge threat. So he is always marked by at least one defender. And once he has the ball he is swarmed by one or more defenders comign at him. He eliminates people on defense and opens up space for others. Ruud Gullit from Holland years ago was such a player. He was not involved in every goal, but you could clearly see the defence chasing him down and opening up space for others. France will be a tough test, especially because they play a conflicting style. But I still think Brazil brings a lot to the table. Examples. Before Japan game they were criticized and they came out and showed glimpses of Joga Bonita. During Ghana game towards the end of the game the stadium was whistling asking for excitement, and with 3 passes they scored right away. Their capabilities are endless and way above the competition, it is a mattyer of if they will play upto their full potential.

Overrated. Those who support Brazil fail to see how this team is consistently helped by fifa with benevolent schedules, favoritism by the referees, extra time to rest, easy rivals (japan, australia, croatia, ghana). They are all waiting for Brazil to win so they can go and celebrate with an aids infected transvestite.

Brazil is just warming up. But if Portugal meets them in the semis there's a chance Brazil will be knocked out. We know all their tricks...

I think they have a fantastic team, but if they were as good as everyone says they are, they would be winning every title, every year
