Yahoo is reporting that Chargers have recieved permission to talk to 4 cordinators of other teams they are Norv Turner and Mike Singletary of the 49ers, Riveria of the Bears, and Rex Ryan of the Ravens. What do you think of these coaches and who would be the best fit?

I have a some questions for you guys.
First question: Which quarterback do you prefer, Ben Roethlisburger (sp?)the guy from Pittsburgh, Phillip Rivers or Eli Manning?
Second question: Can a quarterback pass the ball to the center?
Third question: What position is easier, quarterback, the running guy, or the receiver?
Fourth question: What do they mean by Cover 2?

Sorry, I know my questions might sound awkward to many of you, but I don't know much about football. I'm still learning. Answers would be appreciated.

Thoughts? I honestly think he deserves the chance...it after all, was his first FULL season at the QB position...he wasn't calling the plays...Ron Turner, the Bears offensive coordinator was calling the plays. It's not Rex's fault. This will be his first full off-season without having to come back from injury...he can only get better...give him a chance to prove himself...if he sucks say midway through next season, then consider something.

well bieng a charger fan i was kinda hoping marty would be released but it coudnt have come at a worse time.the reason for his firing was he had two play off games and lost both of them and coudnt get along with the genaral manager aj smith who has stacked up the chargers like a world champion poker player stacking his chips.anyhow ron rivera jimmy johnston and cower are mentioned as possible hc's.i think if we got jimmy johnston we woudnt lose a game for the next five years.the charger battleship only need a captain that can lead it to battle and let the ship win the war.just dont ground it like ol marty.anyhow good luck to marty and what do you fans think of this amazing breaking news?

Vince Young is 6'6 230 he is the second fast running back in the league, he is almost as strong as donovan mcnabb, and has thrown for over 60% of his passes in his first year without a key all star receiver. Considering the fact that if he is hooked up with a receiver with the skill of a chad johnson, randy moss, and the fact that is the 2nd best athlete as his position and will become a better passer in the fact will he be the best quarterback to play the game?

Can peyton manning's AFC championship game drive starting at the 20 with a little over 2 minutes to beat the patriots be compared to "The Drive" of John Elway? Take into consideration that PEyton Manning had a tough PAt defense and 2 minutes while Elway had to go 98 yards in over 6 minutes.....

I say the standings will be:

Eagles - because they always win the NFC East
Giants - retirement of Barber keeps them around 8-8.
Cowboys - Wade Philips. Enough said.
Redskins - No QB and Snyder is still the owner.
