Can peyton manning's AFC championship game drive starting at the 20 with a little over 2 minutes to beat the patriots be compared to "The Drive" of John Elway? Take into consideration that PEyton Manning had a tough PAt defense and 2 minutes while Elway had to go 98 yards in over 6 minutes.....

Whos is better?

Have to go with Elway's only because he was on the road. But the Colts 21-3 comeback is one for the ages!

Elways drive was better because he was in Cleveland not Denver.I've read that the crowd was so loud that there were ripples in lake Eire and felt as though the foundation of the stadium was being shaken to the core. Also the Colts could have settled for a field goal, the Broncos needed a touchdown.Neither is the greatest drive ever however,I'll have to give that one to Bart Starr during the Ice Bowl.Just because of the conditions that they had to try to play in and the great defense they were agansit with about 4 and a half min,was amazing. It was -70 wind chill.

Well, they compare, but Elway is still the master. Peyton Manning had a lot of help in the AFC championship game and the Super Bowl. Turnovers and field position, which you could argue were caused by a better team, due to the weather and other conditions were all contributing factors.

Not to detract from the Colt's victory mind you, but still, the Bears almost won the Super Bowl. Indianapolis was lucky to carry the field and the day...

Peyton is a lucky pussy, Elway was a FOOTBALL player. Could you even imagine Peyton making a run in the SB like Elway's "spinner" play?

Peyton Manning. Him fighting the demons of never making the big game( Super Bowl), playing the pats, and he got it done. At least Elway had already been to the Super Bowl.

Manning is a semi good QB at best! Though I never could stand Elway, he was the best with the game on the line.
