The wind was blowing at 8 mph to his back. The fieldgoal attempt was 54 yards. There was no wind pushing the ball from side-to-side. The path was pretty straight to the posts. Doesn't seem like too hard of a kick for a Pro Bowler.

Two years ago he missed a 39 yard fieldgoal to lose to the Jets in overtime in the playoffs.

Is he ever going to be a clutch kicker or some one who is good during the season and chokes in the playoffs? Should the Chargers trade him?

It was a really good game though. There's always next year.

i think its kind of weird how sept. 11 happened then the same year the yankees won the world series and then a team called the Patriots win the super bowl. then katrina comes through and as soon as the stadiums rebuilt the Saints are in.

I think the Patriots will beat the Colts.
Patriots 29
Colts 26

However the Colts offense and defense is good this year. Patriots are definettly the underdog. What do you think?

And if you think it's fixed please provide me with legitimate and viable arguments and not some homer nonsense. Everyone says that the NFL was "rigged" in 2002 to allow the Patriots to win the Super Bowl because of 9/11. If this is so, then why didn't the New York Giants and the New York Jets play in the Super Bowl, since both of them play 20 minutes away from Ground Zero? Or why didn't Washington get a piece of that, since they also were part of it? Also, since the NFL is "rigged" again because of New Orleans doing so well, why didn't they just have them win it last year which would have been even more spectacular than them winning the Super Bowl this year?

Also how does the NFL decide which years to "fix" the games? Was it fixed during the WTC bombing of '93? Please if anyone knows the inner workings of the NFL explain it to me.
