im a steeler fan and again they lost. It sickens me that when the offense starts to click the defense lacks and when ofense lacks defense steps it up. Then the turn overs what is going on where is the urgency the steelers once had?

Anyone still think he should be MVP of the league after yesterday. 2 picks for TD's, and what the **** was that at the end of the first half ? That wasn't MVP like decision making.

Do any of the other three major sports have that and does anyone know what year this first started in? I'm guessing the year after Jack Tatum paralyzed Darryl Stingley in 1978.

nfl players are rich, and nba basketball too. the players earn millions in one year and the team has their own private jet. but what about the english premier league, it's at the edge of chaos, i dont get it, why dont the epl teams thrive, since both america and england are two superpower firstworld countries.

I've heard Red Bull can be bad for one reason or another. I've also heard beer and soda is a good drink. For what reasons are these good for you. The most suprising though has been ginger ale+grape juice which raises your blood sugar. What would raising your blood sugar do? Yeah I know water is the best option but I've never had any problems with dehydration.

DL Steve Foley is out with an injury and a DUI, Terrence Kiel got arrested for a drug charge along with another guy on the practice squad...

....now DL Shawne Merriman will be out for four games because of a drug charge. What impact will that have on the Charger's defense for the next four games? I'm almost ashamed to say that this is my favorite football team (besides I live in San Diego; I have no other choice).

Our defense rocks--if we could just get an offense going, we have Super Bowl material. However, Plummer can't seem to get things rolling like he did last year. Is it a mistake to let talent like Cutler sit on the bench, or would putting him in disrupt the whole team and really hurt the team?

Matt Hasselbeck 60.8 86.3
Byron Leftwich 58.9 80.9
Donovan McNabb 58.4 85.4
Steve McNair 59.4 82.5
Kurt Warner 65.5 93.5
Jake Plummer 57.1 74.7
David Carr 58.7 75.4
Drew Brees 62.6 85.7
Mark Brunell 59.5 84.2
Daunte Culpepper 64.2 90.8
Jake Delhomme 59.2 84.3
Chad Pennington 65.3 91.9
Aaron Brooks 56.3 79.6
Michael Vick 53.8 75

Vick has the worst completion percentage of any of those QBs listed. The only QB with a worse rating is Jake Plummer. So admitting that Vick is a great running back, how can anyone claim he is a good or even great QB? He's the most overrated player in the leauge.

My Tigers are awesome. Rushing for more than 300 yards against GT that had the #7 rushing defense in the nation. My Tiger's defense shut out Johnson the entire game. He had 0 catches and one rush for negative 4 yards. The Clemson Tigers are the real deal. What do you think?

I know Matt got injured but it was a tie game at that time, so i don't see a reason to argue why they lost :)

How many people were surprised?

In sports in each league, there is always a team you feel sorry for. In the NFL, it's the Cardinals. It's not even the half way point and they've already self destructed. It's understandable how demoralized they are though. They probably don't have any confidence left in them. And the Cards are already teaching Leinart how to lose. Losing to the Raiders has to sting. I know its too early to tell and for all i know, next year is a brand new year (things can happen in the NFL). but boy do i feel sorry for them. forget about this season and start working on the next year. good luck to them for all the changes they have to make soon. what do you think?
