Anyone still think he should be MVP of the league after yesterday. 2 picks for TD's, and what the **** was that at the end of the first half ? That wasn't MVP like decision making.

I'm a 30 year fan of the Eagles, I'm not disrespecting him, just questioning "the best in the league"

I absolutely think Donovan is still the strongest candidate for MVP. He makes mistakes. He's human. Personally, I also blame the play calling for the mishap at the end of the first half. Wouldn't you agree that running a slant route that put Smith IN the endzone instead of infront of it would have been a better idea? Or at least kicking a field goal to get a definate score before half time? You saw him come back in the 2nd half and play HIS game, not Andy's... and produce results. McNabb should have much more control over the offense and the play calling then he does. But Andy is too much of a control freak to give him the reins. In my opinion, the offense would be a lot better if he would. McNabb is the glue that is holding that team together. Yes, 3 interceptions is horrible... inexcusable. But he also brought his team back from a 17-0 deficit. After a bad start, McNabb put life back into that offense and did everything he could to get them a win... In the end, it just wasn't enough. No one could have predicted (or thought possible) a 62 yard field goal by a mediocre Bryant... although it could have been prevented by special teams and defense. Donovan McNabb is everything that is great about the Eagles' offense. He is the total package. He is the Most Valuable Player. 2151 yards, 16 TDs, 101.7 QB rating... need I say more? McNabb for MVP!!!!!

Donnie will bring us back! TRUST IN 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my opinion, what you saw yesterday was typical Donovan. He can take you to the Dance, but you wont hear the music. He chokes every single time the game is on the line, he did the same thing in College and he did the same thing in High School at Mount Carmel, every single time he played Joliet Catholic High School (Hill Toppers) he threw up and choked.
MVP? How can this even be mentioned about a quarterback that doesn't play the entire game, by this I mean he likes to sit on a lead. It doesn't matter if you lose by one point or 100 a loss is a loss. You're absolutely right in your above writing about McNabb, you definitely know the Eagles.
Quick question, Gino's or Pats? I have to see how you answer this one.

Yes he is still the MVP. It doesn't matter on 1 game for an MVP.
