Even though I am a Chiefs fan, I am sorry to say that I don't think we'll achieve 'best in the West' this season. I wish I could be more optimistic, but with so many good players out injured (namely Trent Green), it's tough to tell what the rest of the season will hold. I'm always hoping, though! Never give up!

Time to put down the bong.

The Chiefs are sitting at 3-3 overall and 1-1 for the division and 1-3 against AFC opponents. The Broncos are 5-1 overall, 2-0 in the division and 5-0 vs. AFC teams. The Chiefs also have no idea when Trent Green will return and Huard, while making an effort, is proving to be an inadequate replacement. Larry Johnson has had some flashes of greatness but he can't carry the whole team.

Exhale and head out to Colorado for some good clean Mile High air.

the chiefs....LMFAO not even close they are perrinal losers i mean ive never seen a team have the best record in the nfl and fall flat on their face in the first round so many times they are pathetic....heres a clue if the chiefs are ever gonna get back to the SB get rid of carl peterson hes the worst GM in the league. by the way the chiefs havent even sniffed a SB since 69 or 70 lol

I wouldn't say that quite yet. Chargers and Broncos are still tough teams.

However, Chargers have had their Defense decimated the last couple of weeks and I still think Plummer is one of the worst (if not the worst) QB in the league.

Chiefs need to beat Denver and SD once more before I crown them "best in the West".

No. I personally like the Colts. The Chiefs did do a good job beating San Diego though. I honestly thought S.D. was going to win that game.

If you exlude SD and Denver. That game today could have gone either way. Denver clearly has the best defense in the divsion. We all know the saying about defense.

You're kidding, right? As long as Herman "I know how lose" Edwards is the head coach they will not be the best anywhere.
