Being from Glendale (where their beautiful new stadium is), I can truly say that the Cards are the biggest disappointment in sports. Nobody outside AZ believes in them, but those of us that do always ask why after only 6 games.
To lose to the Raiders, a team that could have gone 0-16, garbage.
And the worst part, the Cards could be 4-2 now. If Warner didn't fumble the game away against St. Louis, and the no missed FG against the KC Chiefs, and no implosion against the Bears, the Cards could have been 4-1. Kornheiser said on Monday night when they were up 20, "If the cardinals manage to lose this game, they should tear the stadium down and sell it for parts, because then we'd know that the cardinals were the worst franchise in sports." No sooner did he finish the sentence than Edge fumbled it away...
If they won they might not have been so down against the Raiders and would have brought some game. They could be 5-1 easily. But, alas, they are the Cards.
Maybe they get a top 3 pick and get that stud LT out of Michigan and move him to RT to protect Leinart's back, then they'll be good next year.
Always looking to next year, when they'll ultimately disappoint us again.

The Vikings aren't a bad team when their QB isn't sowing unrest in the locker room and throwing back-breaking interceptions all the time. The Vikings with Carson Palmer would have contended for the division, and possibly beat out the Bears. The Cardinals are the weaker team, having lost some of their key components from their Super Bowl run. If I'm new to a sport, I tend to pick a team that's not successful, because I truly dislike band-wagon fans. Because of that I would choose the Cardinals, of the two... however, the Vikings are the more likely team to rebound quickly, and if there the more likely televised / covered team.

I was at the game today, RAIDER NATION! Hey, every team has its loyal fans...the silver and black were out in force today. Each season is a new chance for the teams to figure out what they need to start doing right in orcer to win! My team is the greatest, whether they win or lose, or get 500 penalties a game, I am no fairweather fan. And I think each team has their dedicated fans, which they deserve. Keep your head up Cardinal fans...ya never know, the next game they might win! (Though Im going for my boys this season, no matter what they do!)

I live in Phoenix, and every year it's the same old story... at the beginning of the season we hear "This may be their year" and "Spirits are high among the Cardinals team"... we're always expecting a miracle. But every year we get let down over and over and over again. They at least have their own stadium now, so maybe that will be a morale-booster. I guess that's what being a true fan is alla bout, though right?? Stick with it till the bitter end!!! Go Cards!!!

According to "Man Law", can't they refer to this year as a "rebuilding year", even if no actual rebuilding happened during the off season??? jk :)
I don't know if I really feel sorry for them, but they are in a serious self-destructive mode.

Hey, nobody can beat the Raiders. If we lose it's because we beat ourselves. Today we played closer to our potential and when we do that we can beat anybody.
