What do you think of these teams this week?

Miami +4 over Louisville
Arkansas -6 over Vandy
Oregon -4.5 over Oklahoma
West Virginia -17 over Maryland
Minnesota -41.5 over Temple

What do you think the record of those 5 teams will be?

I just bought tickets on eBay for Sunday's Packers-Saints game (paying twice the face value for 30-yd-line seats, 30 rows back). Here's hoping the predicted rain will stay away!

We will be driving up from Indy, and will stay the night in Milwaukee before leaving for the game. Where should we park (is it better to park a few blocks away and just walk through the tailgating area?), what time should we arrive, what routes have the least traffic problems (57 instead of I-43?), and where are the "must-see" (and "must-eat") places to go while we wait for kick-off?

Any and all advice will be appreciated. Thanks!!!

After Palmer was hit the controversy was on. Now that Green has suffered a "similar" situation. Do the Bengals fans look at this like accidents happen or do we continue to blame the Steelers for Palmer? If so should the Chiefs continue to blame the Bengals?

Don't get me wrong I love watching it, I use to support the Chicago Bears in Walter Paytons days (it isn't on English TV very much)

However, Rugby seems harder, faster, it is continous, you get jumped by loads of huge great hairy bast ards, they drag you to the ground and THEN everyone else (including your own players) jump on you - and that is part of the rules!

People sit on your head all the time. you get eye gouged, fish hooked, stomped on, punched, kicked, bitten regularly...yet in rugby we don't bother with the heavy armour that American Football has.

When did American Football get the padding and helmets? If one guy wears it, everyone else would need to, I can see that...but If no one wore it, no one would need it surely?

emphasize lightning in their logo? I can remember in the 60's when they showed a charging horse on merchandise but I could not figure out why the lightning bolts are on their helmets and pants(in the 80's) rather than a charging horse with a knight on it. It's not a big deal for me, it just popped into my head.

I am the said English Retarded person,

I am too old and injured to play anymore but when I played competitive Rugby I was a winger (fast guys on the wing)

I was, back then, 6foot7, 210 pounds and could run the 100m in just under 11 seconds at my best....

What position would I have been best at in American Football?

there was a story in the San Francisco Chronicle on Monday about the Cal Band returning from the defeat in Tennessee on a commercial plane. They were a little down, and started making paper snakes. Soon, most of the passengers were coloring and making paper snakes on this plane. Isn't this hilarious? How can the Stanford Band beat this?

Is it just me.....or does anyone else thinks that Cedric Benson is going to be a Bust in the National Football league?

I feel that Thomas Jones has finally Developed as a feature back, and is not letting go of the starting postion. The Chicago Bears can't coninue to pay Cedric Benson that kind of Money to sit on the Bench. Unless some type of Trade happens with Thomas Jones, the Bears can't afford to keep both these players around especailly with Jones seeking more Money.

Cedric is totally lost on the field, I've only seen him make one good run, and he can't catch out of the back field...he can't block...so It doesn't look like he's going to do well in the Nfl. Is it too early for me to call out a Rotten apple from that draft class already?...or what?

As far as Thomas Jones, I expect him to cash in on a deal next season with another team...maybe the Jets or somebody.

While watching the 2nd half of the Ohio State/Texas game one of the announcers mentioned that it looked like he got punched. After he said that I noticed he did have a sore on his mouth that I did not notice earlier in the game. If anybody taped the game, check out the first half and see if the sore was there already.

He got an injection so he could be able to play during and game. After which he developed a staff infection that almost cost him his life. In turn the Steelers released him and he played one year for Carolina. After numberous surgeries was never able to perform up to par again.
