Wow. . first the complete choke job to the hated Notre Dame team. . . and now not even showing up against of all people. . . the not so Fighting Illini of Illinois!!!! On Homecoming to boot!!!! Tell me how you feel and exactly what and how you want it done to coach John L. (LOSER) Smith. And. . of all the dipstick calls and plays in the second half last week against the Irish. . . what the hell was your kick returner thinking when he took a knee at the ten with nobody within 15 yards of him?

There is a lot of negativity out there about Brett. He has trouble deciding to retire, but to be honest, Green Bay hasn't really made an effort to find a replacement. Aaron Rodgers isn't it. Favre is not holding the team hostage financially, they have cap room. Right now their GM wants to build via draft, but in today's world you have to trade for an up and comer if you see one on another team. That is how the Packers originally got Favre.
Once he is gone, there will be a big void in football, I don't care if you like him or not, so that says something about the man.
Give 'em hell in 2006, Brett!

Anyone else?

They have Aaron Rodgers, but I don't think he is the answer. Is a trade in the works to get an up and coming QB, or is there someone in college this year that can succeed Brett in a year or two?

i thought hoover would win because they had a 14 nothing lead. john curtis came back and beat them 24-14. is hoover number one in the nation?i just think the hoover people are cocky rednecks and im glad someone finally beat them. there was a lot of pressure on john curtis too. they were playing the best team in the nation on national television and still won. proves there a better team.

They barely beat Detroit last week and play the Eagles on Monday night. How does Brett Favre play the rest of the way? It could be a high scoring game on Monday Night. Comments?
