There is a lot of negativity out there about Brett. He has trouble deciding to retire, but to be honest, Green Bay hasn't really made an effort to find a replacement. Aaron Rodgers isn't it. Favre is not holding the team hostage financially, they have cap room. Right now their GM wants to build via draft, but in today's world you have to trade for an up and comer if you see one on another team. That is how the Packers originally got Favre.
Once he is gone, there will be a big void in football, I don't care if you like him or not, so that says something about the man.
Give 'em hell in 2006, Brett!

Anyone else?

I agree, Brett does not get enough credit these days, there is no way the team would win more then 2 games without him and Rodgers is not the answer. I realy don't understand all of the hate towards him, maybe it has to do with him beating up on peoples teams all these years, and now at the first sign of weakness they are taking their frustration of their own teams strugles out on Brett.

As an Eagles fan, yes I am a fan of Bett. He is great to see play. It is unfortunate that he did not retire. The end of last season and the start was really just an embarrasement. He did well last week. He is playing against the Eagles this week so, I don't want him to have a great game, but at least do well.

I think most of his followers are in the retirement home! Or rehab! He's only 20 interceptions away from a record!

he still playing? He reminds me of Troy Aiken alot. Both great quarterbacks but Troy found it hard to retire, maybe a season or two late but he did and has a great career as a broadcaster now.

Everyone has to follow, because there's no room in front of him with John Madden on his knees down there...

He never was the problem- the offensive line doesn't protect him, his receivers can't get where they're supposed to be, and when they did get there, they couldn't catch the ball.
