I'm watching Ohio state university play football but I don't know what a buckeye is. Please help!

Really its a poisonous nut, look like a deer's eyes caught in headlights. We Ohioans also make a candy from sugar, chocolate, peanut butter and a small peanut in the middle that looks just like it.

It's also a candy made in Ohio, that resembles the nut.
The real Buckeye nut is poisonous, so don't get them confused!

its a nut with a brown circle on it and a flat side sometimes and its said that if you rub the flat side it bringss you good luck
