Both plays were accidents but the Bengals fans are still whining about that play from the playoffs last year. Get over it.

The first person truly gave you your answer. The Bengals fans sadly can't see an accident as that. I don't hold it against the team, as they came out and said Kimo wouldn't do that. You look at replays of the hit on Trent Green and it looks far dirtier. Here's why, that was a hit on a man sliding where it was not just late(can't hit a QB sliding) but also a hit on a very vulnerable player and a hit toward the torso from the side. I didn't se it live, so my opinion isn't fair in a sense. Now they say there was a push. Well Kimo was PUSHED by a Bengal and reached forward to catch his balance. He immediatly looked up with a look on his face telling you something was wrong. I really hope the guy was pushed into Green as that hit seems to low to be an attempt for a clean tackle. MMaybe seeing it live I see a different look. Either way I give the benefit of the doubt and say accicdents happen, BUT as a Steelers fan everytime I hear a whining Bengals fan the rest of this season I'm bringing this up.

I'm a Bengals fan. 1) The Steelers had nothing to due with Palmer's injury, just an unlucky hit.
2) Same situation with the KC game. This is football, sometimes when two large people hit each-other, someone is going to get hurt.

Steelers and Bengals are in the same division so there is an automatic rivalry between them. Chiefs therefore would be justified in blaming Bengals for their similar incident. Naturally, they won't do that because from what I have noticed there is a serious double standard with regards to these sorts of things. I am a lone woman in a Huge family of Steeler fans. Last year for the superbowl my husband stopped people at the door and made them put on pittsburgh paraphanalia before entering when he knows he would never ever put on anything that belonged to another team. Another example of the double standard.

Ya know, one thing people seem to forget, Kimo & Palmer were teammates at one time & got along just fine. Not that it matters(to anyone but a whiny Bungal fan), but THAT WAS LAST SEASON!!! Palmer looks fine, Kimo's gone & the Steelers are gonna smack the Bungals around again. It's a contact sport, people get hurt. Try a new approach. Neither hit drew a flag for good reason, they were legal hits!

This is absolutely hilarious. Any one who says Kimo did it on purpose and Geathers didn't is a complete jack*ss! Geathers had his opportunity to let up and instead he dropped his shoulder. The entire sports world is laughing at the ignorance of these hypocritical Bungals fans. As long as you b*tches know it is open season on Palmer. I hope Joey Porter slams his *ss and then jumps on him three more time for good measure.
I actually asked this question (alittle differently) and the only Bungal fan that answered said....the steelers suck and you know it. This should show any one that the average intelligence of a Bungal fan isn't very high!

Losers will be losers and make every excuse.
Both hits were proven accidental.
I'm just sorry that Palmer was taken out last year so that when Cincy lost we didn't have this incessant whining.
None the less we got 10 days to trash talk before the rematch.

It's football - hits happen! The Steelers will roll over the Bengals and the Bengals will of course, whine about it.
