I'll be attending the Tennessee Florida game. Always a great matchup. GO VOLS!! Please let Michigan beat ND. Sooo sick of hearing how great ND is. Miami over Lou, LSU over Auburn, and I hope Texas Tech kicks the crap out of TCU.

Notre Dame all the way, although some pretty good rivalries going on here.

Florida should trounce the "unable to stop the option run" Vols, we'll see who's the most overhyped between Lousyville and Miami, and Auburn should have a good battle on their hands with a tough LSU team.

TCU-Texas Tech... Is that even in the same league as the other games?

Mich./ND

Cheer Cheer for Old Notre Dame,
Wake up the Echos calling her name,
Send a Volley Cheer on high,
Strike down the Thunder from the sky,
What though the odds be great or small,
Old Notre Dame will win over all
As Her Loyal Sons are marching,
ONWARD TO VICTORY

LETS GO IRISH!!!!!!!!!!!

I will be watching LSU annihilate Auburn the same way they did Arizona. My other picks are: Michigan over Notre Dame, Louisville over Miami, Tennessee over Florida, and the TCU/Texas Tech game don't even matter.

As a Florida fan, I'm definitely watching the Gators take on the Vols in Knoxville. But as a college football fan, there's no way I'll miss any of the top four games you listed, and I'll probably catch at least some of all five games. And you forgot to include Nebraska-USC and Clemson-FSU in that mix.

The problem is that three of the games start at 3:30 p.m. EST. One starts at 5:30 and the last one starts at 8 p.m. (Nebraska-USC also starts at 8 p.m.; Clemson-FSU is at 7:45.) Basically, you have to decide which one(s) have the greatest implications, both for you and nationally. While I can't decide what you'll prefer, the national implications are huge in most of those games, so here's how I would rank them:

1) LSU-Auburn (3:30 p.m., CBS). The winner of this game gets an enormous leg up in the SEC West. Both teams are in the top 10, and both have BCS aspirations. The winner is on a track for Atlanta and beyond. The loser will have to be close to perfect to have a shot at a major bowl.

2) Michigan-Notre Dame (3:30 p.m., NBC). Both teams are still undefeated, but neither has really proven itself. Still, the loser here is likely knocked out of the national championship picture, though a BCS berth is still extremely possible. For Notre Dame and Brady Quinn, a seat at the Heisman ceremony is also at stake. He needs a lot of positive exposure in big games to have a chance there.

3) Florida-Tennessee. As in the other SEC contest, the winner gets the inside track for the SEC Championship Game. The loser will have to stay perfect to make a case for the BCS. Tennessee's win over Air Force was costly -- two All-America caliber players on defense were knocked out for the season. This is a perfect opportunity for both teams to show that their offensive woes are in the past, and for Chris Leak, especially, to show that he deserves not only to be the starter, but also a candidate for the Heisman Trophy.

4) Miami-Louisville (3:30 p.m., ABC). Sure the 'Canes lost to FSU, but they're still favored to win their division of the ACC, and that means they're very much in the running for a BCS game. Louisville, meanwhile, needs a big win to prove that the Cards are legitimate. They also need a good test before the matchup with West Virginia. Miami has tons of defense, but no offense. Louisville has tons of offense, but not much defense. They're also missing star RB Michael Bush, who was lost for the season in the opening game.

5) TCU-Texas Tech (5:30 p.m., CSTV). Conventional wisdom says that only two teams from the mid-major conferences have a shot at crashing the BCS party -- Boise State and TCU. This game probably represents the best chance anyone will have at beating the Frogs this season. Tech has an arsenal on offense, but TCU is extremely consistent on both sides of the ball. The only reason to watch this is to see if the Frogs can stay perfect, or if you're a big TCU fan.

Other biggies:

Nebraska-USC (8 p.m., ABC). Is Nebraska ready for the big-time? Is USC focused and primed for another run at the National Championship?

Clemson-FSU (7:45 p.m., ESPN). After last week's scare against would-be giant-killer Troy, the 'Noles need to prove they're still among the elite. Clemson, meanwhile, needs to prove that deserves a place among the nation's best.

OK -- so what would I watch? My schedule would be:

Noon -- Flip between Iowa-Iowa State and Syracuse-Illinois. One game has actual competition, and the other has a couple of horrible Orange-and-Blue teams trying to get their first win. I'll probably peruse these during breaks from mowing the lawn or washing the cars.

3:30 -- LSU-Auburn gets my primary attention, but I DVR Michigan-Notre Dame, and I have Miami-Louisville on in the bedroom. Also, don't forget Oregon-Oklahoma. That's on in the guest room.

5:30 -- I'll pop into the TCU-Texas Tech game now and then (in the guest room) just to see how the Frogs are doing.

7:45 -- I start the DVR on Clemson-FSU.

8 p.m. -- Tennessee-Florida is center stage in the living room. I'll check on USC-Nebraska in the bedroom during commercial breaks.

Midnight -- I beg my wife to forgive me for allowing college football to dominate (yet another) Saturday.

I am going to be at a party so it's likely that we will be watching Michigan-Notre Dame, although I would like to see the Miami-Louisville game as well.
