Is the Indian cricket team in safe hands ? Can Anil handle the pressure for which Rahul gave up the captaincy ? Because the most difficult job on earth is captaining team India.

The quality of the shots played by Sachin in the 4th one dayer was just superb.

He played almost all his trademark shots. It was an absolute treat to watch him play.

I am not superstitious at all but just for Sachin, i went out of the room when he was in the 90's ,lol

& God, he missed it again,

So the agony continues & Tendulkar fans like yours truly will have to wait for #79.

This man has got a strange luck.

***** Note - Remember, this is the same guy who was criticized so much after the 2007 world cup debacle.
People like Ian Chappell & Micheal Atherton made such third grade statements about the Little Master & now look how he has replied to them.

Well done Sachin. We love you

GWALIOR, India (Reuters) - Sachin Tendulkar made 97 to power India to a six-wicket win over Pakistan in the fourth one-dayer on Thursday, taking an unassailable 3-1 lead in the series with a game to spare.

India coasted to 260 for four wickets in 46.3 overs chasing Pakistan's 255 for six. Pakistan's batting mainstay Mohammad Yousuf also missed out on a hundred, stranded on 99 not out.

The 34-year-old Tendulkar, out for 99 in the second match, struck 16 fours until he played on to the stumps against paceman Umar Gul on the verge of his 42nd one-day hundred, his sixth dismissal in the 90s in 2007. He was named man-of-the-match.

Yuvraj Singh (53 not out) then stroked his third fifty of the series and put on 101 runs for the unbroken fifth wicket with skipper Mahendra Dhoni (45 not out) to finish in style.

India secured only their second home series win over their traditional rivals in four attempts, the first since 1983-4.

You can hear it on cricinfo.com.

He said that Yousuf has become a statsguru & was playing for his records. He said Pakistan loses whenever he scores runs.

He praised Sachin a lot for his aggressive batting.

I am very surprised with this bcz i was expecting Pakistani cricket experts to praise Yousuf bcz he was the only guy who atleast scored runs but Mr.Ramiz has absolutely made a mockery of his inning.

I am of the opinion that Pakistan is playing a bit too slowly in the middle overs. They are losing every match in these crucial middle overs.
See they start with a good run-rate & then after 15 overs they just stop scoring quickly.

They have been playing poorly between over # 15 & 40.

I think they have the players to win matches but their strategy isn't impressive & they need to change this mind set as early as possible otherwise 4-1 defeat is waiting for them.

Malik decided to bat first & he himself was playing at strike rate of 50.
I mean this is absolutely senseless.

Cheers

It's a One Day International match (50-50).

This is my Asia 11 -

( 4 Indians , 3 Sri Lankans , 3 Pakistaniz , 1 Bangladeshi )

1) Sachin Tendulkar
2) Sanath Jayasuriya
3) Shahid Afridi
4) Mohammed Yousuf
5) Yuvraj Singh
6) Mahendra Singh Dhoni ( Captain , aggressive)
7) Irfan Pathan
8) Chaminda Vaas
9) Mushraffe Mortaza
10) Mutiah Muralitharna
11) Umra Gul

( Asif, Sangakara , Ashraful , Dravid reserve players)

Rest of the world 11 -

1) Mathew Hayden
2) Chris Gayle
3) Ricky Ponting ( Captain, of course. who else? )
4) Kevin Pieterson
5) Michael Hussey
6) Adam Gilchrist ( sorry ,lol. I want him @ 6)
7) Jacob Oram
8) Shaun Pollock
9) Brad Hogg ( sub-continental players struggle against'im)
10) Nathan Bracken
11) Brett Lee / Dale Steyn / Shane Bond

(Reserve - James Anderson, Dwayne Bravo , Daniel Vettori, Makhaya Ntini)

I think ROW 11 will beat Asian 11 on a bouncy pitch but on a sub-continental batting beauty, Asia 11 will have the edge

Cheers!!!
