if he is playing test cricket, then why not one day too? now that he is captain shouldn't he return to one days too?

I don't understand why some cricketers say they retire, but then continue playing test cricket. What is the logic behind that? I'm just curious to know

I heard that the chase of 322 for Pakistan's victory is the 9th largest successful chase in history of cricket ODIs. Is that true? If so, its quite an accomplishment seeing how badly Pakistan played in world cup.

i feel he should have been given a chance for the next two matches..but it doesnt matter to me much beacuse rahul has proved with that double century that he is fine nick....and hats off to him for that!!

Pak pace bowler Shoib Akhtar seems to be becoming a lead wicket taker after an absence of several months. He finished with bowling figures of 42 runs for 3 wickets in 10 overs, dismissing ganguly, Dhoni and one more batsman. In previous match also, he took wicket of Tendulkar and Dhoni. And in the last game with South Africa, he also took vital wickets.

His 42 runs in 10 overs, may have restricted India from scoring even a bigger total than 321. I feel definitely India could have scored 340 to 350, if it wasn't for Shoib's quick wickets in second spell.

So i'm curious to know if he is making a comeback

i'm surprised that a retired cricketer is called in to be captain. I think Kumble is around 38 or 39 years old ---- this really puts him out of advantage. How come?

How come a total of 321 could not be defended by India? In last game if India restricted pak to 239, then why this time they could not stop the pak momentum? This in my opinion shows that the problem is with bowlers, not the batsmen. The bowlers fail to take wickets, concede too many runs and have difficulty in their lines and lengths.

Partcularly how come the bowlers failed to break the 105 run, 76 ball parternship of Younis Khan and Misbah ul haq?

134 runs were to be scored in last 15 overs for pak to win and i was confident that it would be impossible task, but the bowlers just kept getting beaten till the end from thereon.

Is it time to get new bowlers and replace the current brand of bowlers?

Also why Afridi is able to punish indian bowlers so frequently when his average is only 23 runs?

I have been seeing this for the past several years that Afridi punishes Indian bowlers in majority of games. His sixer in the 49th over sealed indian chance of winning.

why Aussie cricketers have joined IPL. they have issues with Indian crowds, issues with Indian infrastructure and facilities, issues with indian racists instincts(as per Symonds), issues with 20-20 format(as per Aussies, its just a practice format and not important)

why do Aussie cricketers compromise on their self dignity , prestige and grace and come to india for this type of cricket

Shame on you , women, why do you see the stature.money and compromise your self esteem on getting in with the celebrities. That is shear negotiation, isn't it.
