They lacked Asif, Shoaib Akthar was not in his full form and Inzy just retired. But not to worry, let the new unit gel for 6mths and the performance will improve. Rao Iftkiar shows a lot of promise and we saw Misbah's brillance in the World 20-20. Just don't keep dropping players for 1 or 2 bad performanes. Excessive rotation will only make the team more inconsistent.

Basically, India outplayed Pakistan.
That's the simplest explanation.
I think the difference between the two teams was batting. Indian batting line-up was too good as compared to Pakistan's batting line up.
Bowling of both teams is almost equal. It's the batting that has made India the better team in this series.
Sachin, Saurav, Yuvraj, Dhoni, Gambhir hav all contributed.for Indian team in all matches (almost")
On the other hand, Pakistan's batting has not been consistent

The simple answer is India played better.
Indian players played together as a unit, while Pakisthan players were playing for individual scores.
Every one of the Indian team contributed, But I must mention Yuvi has shown the character. The perfect example of being a team man. The way he has supported Dhoni, its fantastic.

Somtimes not having the right opening batsman, such as Imran Nazir & some other pak opener can lead to a bad day VS lucky indian bowlers.
