Jalal-ud-Din of Pakistan was the first bowler to take a hat-trick in ODI. He took the hat-trick against Australia at hyderabad (P) on 20.09.1982. the following were the batsmen he had dismissed in the hat-trick:

1) K.W. Marsh (Bowled).
2) B. Yardley (Caught Wasim Bari)
3) G.F. Lawson (Bowled)
