Despite all the guys around just now who can bowl at speeds approaching 100 mph and on odd occasions hit the 100 mph mark , the only guy who at his peak could constantly hit this speed was Jeff Thompson with that slingy action .
Unfortunately there was not the machinery around which was capable of accurately measuring pace , but if you listen to all the cricket experts who played with and against him they always give him the edge in pace,
