Would he have been the greatest ever had he not ended up a 'COMPLETE FAILURE" with his life....only want opinions on his talent (no arguement he is/was worthless).....but "pound for pound" in that time he was "superior" to Hearns-Leonard-Hagler or Duran....my opinion.......do you disagree?

Both Chavez and Richard Steele should be ashamed of that for their entire lives. Meldrick really won that fight, and I think that was the biggest robbery ever---and there's been plenty of them (Axel Schultz/George Foreman ring a bell?)

Lets not forget how Oliver broke down in the ring against Lennox Lewis back in 1997 and started crying.

Duran was fifty years old when he fought Hector Camacho in 2001. Afterwards, he was injured in a car accident and recovered too slowly to get back in shape for another fight. But would he really have gotten back in the ring anyway? During his entrance for the Camacho fight, he was dancing and making everything out of it like he knew then that it would be his last fight.

(Happy birthday, Roberto!)

I watch the Wednesday and Friday night fights each week. I turn the Mute button to get rid of Teddy Atlas' know it all constant chatter. It's nonstop. I think you should put a muzzle on him or put him in the back room. I also watch HBO and Showtime boxing and it's a pleasure to hear Manny Stewart's commentary. I think if he wants to be a coach do it in the gym and not on the mike. Let us enjoy the sport without all the babble and rambling.

I always get different answers to this question. I'm interested to see what you all say. Both could be considered the best heavy weight of all-time. But I want to know who would win in a fight between these two in their prime and why.
