first you need to get registered as an anatuer boxer. then compete in tournament like the pal's, golden gloves and u.s. championships. hopefully you win one to qualify for the olympic trials.

Pretty simple actually. You must compete. You must compete frequently and build a superior reputation. Then, you must be invited to compete at a tournament held by the coach for that particular team for recruitment purposes only. THEN you must be selected for the team. Ice Skating has refined it a bit more than that, but boxing has not.

Get a trainer like Emmanuel Stewart and you will defintely go to the Olympics!

You have to compete and win in whatever event you want to get into and build a national reputation.
