According to boxrec.com, Willie Pep, the longtime World Featherweight Champ fought from 07-03-1940 (his first pro fight), until 01-26-1959, when he lost to Victor Sonny Leon. Pep's record stood at 221-10-1.

Pep then came out of retirement on 03-12-1965 to fight Harold McKeever (who was 0-8-0 and would finish his career at 1-12-0). Pep proceed to win 9 consecutive fights (all against boxers with .500 or worse records) and on his 10th fight, he lost a 6 round decision to Calvin Woodland on 03-16-1966. Pepp was 43 years old when he retired for good with a final record of 230-11-1

Willie pep retired in 1960

He came back in 1964 for 2 more years and lost his finall fight in 1966
